From the Field to the Stage: My Journey of Faith, Football, and Inspiring Others

My journey from the football field to the speaker’s stage has been filled with faith, resilience, and a deep desire to inspire others. During my time at the University of Georgia, I had the honor of being part of an incredible SEC Championship team. I earned titles like SEC Defensive Player of the Year (twice), became a three-time All-American, and was fortunate enough to receive prestigious awards such as the Lott and Bednarik. When I was drafted in the first round by the Cincinnati Bengals, I thought my dream career in the NFL was just beginning.

However, life had other plans. In my second season, I suffered a neck injury that ended my career as an athlete. What could have been the darkest moment of my life became a pivotal one. My faith grew stronger, and I learned that even in the toughest challenges, God has a purpose. That experience opened the door to a new chapter in my life.

I spent over a decade as a sports analyst at ESPN, where I had the privilege of sharing my love for football with fans across the country. But along the way, I discovered a passion for speaking and inspiring others. Today, I have the honor of addressing audiences of all kinds—corporate groups, faith-based communities, and sports teams—sharing my story and helping others find strength in their own journeys.

When I speak, I aim to connect on a personal level, offering not only humor and wit but also real-life lessons. My goal is to challenge, uplift, and encourage you to grow into the best version of yourself.

If you’re looking for someone to inspire and motivate your audience, I’d love to connect. Book me for your next event through Players for Good at www.playersforgood.com.
