Faith, Football, and Finding Purpose: My Conversation with Rick & Bubba

I recently had an amazing time sitting down with the guys at Rick and Bubba University for a deep and honest conversation. We covered everything from my football career to some of the more challenging moments, including the infamous spat with Coach Saban that Alabama fans still talk about. We also talked about my ESPN departure and how I’ve learned to trust God’s plan through it all.

One of the most personal and meaningful parts of the interview was sharing my faith journey—how I came to know Christ during my time at the University of Georgia, and the impact Coach Mark Richt had on my spiritual life. We also discussed the importance of surrounding yourself with strong, faith-filled people and how that has shaped my family, including my brother’s ongoing transformation.
